Celebrate
Father’s Day
With Victory Lutheran Church
Father’s Day is a time to reflect on the strength, wisdom, adventure, and leadership we have gained through the lives of our fathers.
A Father’s Love
Much of what they do can often go unnoticed. Fathers are teachers, coaches, handymen, builders, brothers, friends, leaders, landscapers, husbands, and so much more. Take this special day to celebrate and honor the men who have led and loved as fathers in your life.
Celebrating Fathers
Whether you are planning a cookout, game day, or an adventure, Father’s Day is celebration-worthy! At Victory Lutheran Church, we are ready to celebrate our fathers in high style. Bring your family out to our Father’s Day Celebration for music, encouragement, and a special Father’s Day treat!
What to Expect
Arriving at Victory Lutheran Church
When you arrive at Victory Lutheran Church for Father’s Day, volunteers help you find where to park. When you enter the building, there are signs directing you to the “main service.” If you have kids, you’ll also find bright signs directing you to Victory Kids. Once you enter the main service area, feel free to sit wherever you’d like.
Service
The service begins with about 20 minutes of music from our live band. The words of the songs are projected onto large screens. Many people sing along, so feel free to participate if you feel comfortable.
One of our leaders then shares a Father’s Day message from the Bible.
At some point, we take an offering of financial gifts. This offering is for those who call Victory Lutheran Church their home. As our guest, you’re not expected to give any money.
We are blessed with many opportunities to serve the needs of our community. It is through the generosity of the church members that we meet those needs.
We always sprinkle in a few unique elements for our Father’s Day service, like special songs or skits.
We can’t wait for you to see what we have planned this year!
What about my kids?
Your children are welcome to join you in the service. However, we also offer programming during the service for kids from birth through 5th grade. Simply follow the signs to “Victory Kids” to check your children in. At check-in, you’ll be asked to fill out some information so we can have a way to contact you in the unlikely event you are needed during the service.
If you’re looking to find an encouraging celebration of fatherhood this Father’s Day, we believe you’ll find what you’re looking for at our Father’s Day service.
It wouldn’t be the same without you, so we hope you’ll attend.
