Celebrate
Mother’s Day
With Victory Lutheran Church
Mother’s Day is an opportunity for us to celebrate the love, sacrifice, and devotion of the mothers in our lives.
The Gift of a Mother
The very nature of a mother is selfless. Every day, a mother considers her family. She is a chef, housekeeper, tutor, counselor, coach, doctor, and leader. On this special day, take time to honor and acknowledge the wives, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, friends, sisters, and other selfless women in your life.
Celebrating Mothers
Whether you are planning a spa day, a special meal, or a day of relaxation, Mother’s Day is an occasion worthy of celebration! At Victory Lutheran Church, we’re pulling out all the stops to celebrate our mothers in grand style. Bring your family to our Mother’s Day Celebration for music, encouragement, and a special Mother’s Day surprise!
What to Expect
Arriving at Victory Lutheran Church
When you arrive at Victory Lutheran Church for Mother’s Day, volunteers help direct you where to park. When you enter the building, there are signs directing you to the “main service.” If you have kids, you’ll also find bright signs pointing you to Victory Kids. Once you enter the main auditorium, feel free to sit wherever you’d like.
Service
The program begins with about 20 minutes of music from our live band. The words of the songs are projected onto large screens. Many people sing along, so feel free to participate if you feel comfortable.
One of our leaders then shares a Mother’s Day lesson from the Bible.
At some point, we take an offering of financial gifts. This offering is for those who call Victory Lutheran Church their home. As our guest, you’re not expected to give any money. If you want to make a donation, that decision is totally up to you.
We are blessed with many opportunities to serve the needs of our community. It’s through the generosity of our church members that we meet those needs.
We always incorporate a few unique elements in our Mother’s Day service, like special songs or skits.
We can’t wait for you to see what we have planned this year!
What about my kids?
Your children are welcome to join you in the service. However, we also offer special programs during the service for kids from birth through 5th grade. Simply follow the signs to Victory Kids to check in your children. When you arrive, you’re asked to fill out some basic information so we have a way to contact you in the unlikely event you’re needed during the service. This also ensures a secure drop-off and pickup procedure for the safety of our children
If you’re looking to find an encouraging celebration of motherhood this Mother’s Day, we believe you’ll find what you’re searching for at our Mother’s Day service.
It won’t be the same without you, so we hope you’ll attend.
